Empowering Your Daughter: How Active Parental Involvement Can Unlock Her Full Potential

When your child becomes a Nardin student, your involvement becomes vital to putting her on the path to success. Active parent involvement fosters a strong home - school connection. This partnership ensures consistency between our families and Nardin’s values, goals, and expectations. Active parents reinforce the importance of education resulting in more confident students, higher grades, and a stronger motivation to excel.
At Nardin, we strongly believe that education extends beyond the classroom. Extracurricular activities, such as   the  arts, sports, and leadership programs, strengthen the bond between parent  and daughter. Parental participation in these events, whether it is by attending events or volunteering, allows your daughter to take full advantage of all that Nardin has to offer.

The following is a brief list of opportunities where parents can get involved throughout the school year:

Walk-a-thon - A fall fundraiser that benefits school activities such as the Homecoming Dance, Picnic Day, and more.

Homecoming - The Nardin community (families, alumni, faculty, and staff) comes together to celebrate the Academy. Students participate in the Powder Puff game, Athlete Parade, and Pep Rally.

School Musical/Play - Nardin Academy’s Performing Arts Department presents a musical performance in the fall and a dramatic performance in the spring. Past presentations include Legally Blonde The Musical, Chicago The Musical, and The Little Mermaid.

School Dances - Our school dances are a great way for our students to come together and have fun outside of the classroom. With our Homecoming Dance, Winter Ball, and Father Daughter Dance, there is a little something for everyone!

Fortune Fundraiser - Fortune is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Volunteers play a crucial role in helping Nardin achieve its financial goals. From  attending gift gathering parties to day-of participation, our volunteers are the heart and soul of our community ensuring Nardin’s overall success.

NAPA - Joining the newly formed Nardin Academy Parent Association is the perfect opportunity to engage with the community and learn more about all that the Academy has to offer.

Parent engagement helps to strengthen the bond of our students with the entire Nardin Academy community. To learn more on how to get involved, contact 716-881-6262.
